Company
zsd Zerspanung Dessau GmbH, specialising in mechanical processing (turning, drilling, milling) of major assemblies to 64 tons, was founded in 2005 as a spin-off associated company of gsd Großanlagen- und Schwermaschinenbau Dessau and operates with legal and financial independence on the market within the tmGROUP.
The company, with 30 employees and a lean organisation, has a production area of c. 5.000 m² and a standard capacity of c. 45.000 production hours.
Particularly worthy of note is the ability to manufacture single units and small batches of assemblies with unit weights up to 64 tons to flexible schedules, whereby the steel assemblies can optionally be supplied by the customer or otherwise manufactured by the sister companies gsd and smb. On customer request, we also procure the castings and forging blanks. In addition, final corrosion protection can be supplied following machining.
