A Warm Welcome from the Companies in the tmGROUP

In recent years, gsd Großanlagen- und Schwermaschinenbau Dessau GmbH, founded in 1999, has grown into an owner-operated group of companies with a medium-sized ethos which is primarily active in the heavy steel construction, mechanical engineering, and plant manufacturing industries.

At the Dessau-Roßlau and Schönebeck/Elbe sites in Saxony-Anhalt, our 380 qualified employees complete more than 540,000 hours of production a year in multi-shift operations on a 125,000 m2 production area, generating an annual turnover of c. € 80 million.

We focus on the manufacture of complex steel structures

(unit weights up to 160 tons) to customer requirements. Our flexible single-order and small batch manufacturing comprises procurement of materials, steel structure manufacturing as well as mechanical processing, corrosion protection, and assembly.

As a manufacturer focussed on medium and long-term solutions, we supply our customers, among others, with:
• tubular steel towers for wind turbine generators,
• equipment for industrial plant construction (rotary furnaces, mills, cooling apparatus),
• mechanical processes (carousel turning, drilling, and milling),
• special cab chassis and components for environmental applications.

The companies within the group hold all necessary and current qualifications and licences (e.g. certification to DIN EN ISO 9001, full welding certification DIN 18800-7, etc.).

To ensure optimal customer relations and be able to react flexibly on the competitive global market, the tmGROUP is split into manageable, independently operating companies. The parent company of the group is tm Verwaltungs GmbH, which acts as a holding company.

The assets of the group of companies are administered within the group’s asset owning company tm Leasing GmbH & Co. KG.
